CLEVELAND — The 2-9 Dolphins haven't given fans many reasons to celebrate this season. But with Mike Gesicki catching his first-career touchdown Sunday against the Browns, it's a good time to be a Southern Regional Ram.

The Southern Regional product caught an 11-yard score from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Gesicki, a tight end, has 31 receptions for 322 yards this season.

The Dolphins drafted Gesicki in the second round — 42nd overall — in 2018. He played four years at Penn State, recording 1,481 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns, including nine as a senior in 2017. Gesicki caught 129 passes, the most for a tight end in team history.
