Stafford EMS To Host Winter Blood Drive Wednesday

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services is holding a winter blood drive Wednesday from 12 to 7 p.m.

The blood drive will be conducted at their service building located at 365 E. Bay Ave. in Manahawkin.

Blood tests can determine whether people have antibodies to help patients who are battling coronavirus.

Stafford Township EMS included donor guidelines in a Facebook post:

• All donors must wear a mask or face covering
• Weigh at least 110 pounds
• Eat a meal before donation
• Bring ID
• Drink plenty of water before and after donation
