MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Stafford's Founders Day was postponed from June 13 to Aug. 29 because of the coronavirus. Stafford Recreation announced the decision Monday.

The postponement includes the breakfast, parade and all field activities at the Doc Cramer Sports Complex, along with fireworks.

Governor Phil Murphy increased the limit on outdoor gatherings May 22 from 10 people to 25, as long as social distancing remains in place. That number will likely increase in the coming months if New Jersey continues to flatten the curve of coronavirus cases.
