Stafford PBA To Hold Striped Bass Tournament This Week

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Stafford PBA 297 will host its 10th annual Striped Bass Tournament on Thursday and Friday. The event has become one of the East Coast's largest striped-bass fishing tournaments, with up to 500 anglers and award banquet attendees.

The event dates have changed because of weather concerns on Saturday. The tournament will take place Thursday and Friday, instead of Friday and Saturday.

Here is the schedule:

• Thursday, 7-9 p.m.: boat registration
• Thursday, 9 p.m.: captains meeting
• Friday, 1-5 p.m.: weigh-ins
• Friday, 6 p.m.: banquet and auction
