Stafford Schools Pivot To Full Remote Learning For 2 Weeks
The Stafford Township School District will transition to full remote learning instruction beginning Monday.
MANAHAWKIN, NJ — The Stafford Township School District will pivot to full remote learning instruction beginning Monday. The district will return to in-person learning on Jan. 25.
In a letter to parents on Friday, Superintendent George J. Chidiac said the transition is due to "the rise in COVID-19 percent positivity and case rates within our region." Chidiac said the district will conduct a deep cleaning in all school buildings during the remote period.
“We do understand these are frustrating times. Our district is committed to the health and safety of each and every one of our students and staff members,” Chidiac wrote.
