Sunday's Storm Downs Trees, Wires In Stafford

MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Did you see any storm damage Sunday evening? Stafford police got several calls about downed trees and wires because of the high winds.
Stafford PD mostly received reports from Tahoe Lane and Lamson Road. Trees fell on an around houses, cars and swing sets, according to police.
The Rutgers Weather Network, which monitors conditions at about 60 points around New Jersey, indicated that wind reached more than 60 mph in parts of the state. On the Jersey Shore, towns such as Mullica Township (55 mph), Sea Girt (55) and Berkeley (51) also reported heavy wind.
