Sweet Jenny's In Barnegat Reopens Indoor Dining

BARNEGAT, NJ — Sweet Jenny’s welcomed customers to eat inside their restaurant for the first time since March. The restaurant announced Friday that indoor dining will be available Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Sweet Jenny’s offered take-out and delivery orders at the start of the coronavirus pandemic in March. When Gov. Phil Murphy allowed restaurants to reopen at 25 percent capacity, Sweet Jenny's did not reopen their indoor dining operations.

“As other local eateries begin to reopen, we have decided to take this time to renovate and refresh our restaurant,” Sweet Jenny's announced on Facebook in June. “We look forward to a grand reopening with you all soon.”

The restaurant closed its operations entirely from July through November until they returned with take-out and delivery options about one month ago.

On Facebook, Sweet Jenny's said take-out and delivery orders will continue in addition to indoor dining.

The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner, though breakfast items will return to the menu soon.
