Three Injured In Stafford Car Crash On Route 539: Police
A driver and two juvenile passengers were injured in Stafford on Thursday after a car hit a parked truck and a tree, police said.

STAFFORD, NJ — A driver and two juvenile passengers were injured in Stafford on Thursday after a car hit a parked truck and a tree, Stafford police said.
Fiona Kaufman, 19, of Mays Landing was driving a 1998 Volkswagen convertible at 3:37 p.m. on Route 539, police said.
After she passed Cervetto Road, Kaufman lost control of her vehicle, veered into a parked pickup truck in a driveway and struck a large tree, according to police.

At the time of the crash, Kaufman was not wearing a seatbelt. She sustained a head trauma and was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment, police said.
Two juvenile passengers were treated for minor injuries at Southern Ocean Medical Center and released.

The crash is under investigation by Officer Pascale and Officer DeMarco of the Traffic Safety Bureau. Any witnesses are asked to call 609-597-1189, ext. 8436.
