Tuckerton Seaport Gearing Up For Annual Creepfest Tonight

TUCKERTON, NJ - Pirates and sea captains lost at sea long ago will come alive again at the Tuckerton Seaport tonight as they prowl the boardwalk looking for you at the annual "Haunted Seaport" Halloween extravaganza.

The event will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It features a variety of scary and non-scary programs.

Keep an eye out for the Jersey Devil. Climb aboard the "Haunted Hayride" for a trip through creepy woods.

Don't miss the family fun activity area for the little ones, with crafts, stories, games and other fall activities, including the infamous pumpkin slime. Color a pumpkin, make your way through the hay bale maze, and take a mini-hayride. The children-friendly activity is open from 3 pm. to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Joe Holiday will be on hand with a number of magic shows for the kids.

If you've got a little time to kill, you can have your picture taken, while getting locked in the stocks or dying laughing in a coffin at Photo Ops While You Wait.

There will be plenty of food to eat while you're waiting to be scared. Here's a list of some of the items for sale by Cajun Jax.

Cajun Jax - Pork, Butternut squash and apple soup, crab balls, specialty burgers, raging cajun burger, w/grilled andouille patty, pepper jack cheese, fried onions and a garlic siracha sauce, the Jax burger, w/Cajun fries, chili, jalapeños, chedder, and garlic mayo, the Baltimore bomber, w/an old bay crab cake, green onions, bacon, and a remulad sauce, Cajun black and blue burger, crab balls, fried pickles, and chicken fingers are just some of the offerings.

General admission is $10 for adults, $5 kids 5-12. Children 5 and under and Seaport members receive free admission. A hayride through the Haunted Woods is $5 for everyone.
