Absegami Girls Soccer Team Escapes With Overtime Playoff Win Over Hammonton

Galloway Township, NJ -- Emma Wilkins scored the game-winner in overtime to lead the seventh-seeded Absegami High School girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over No. 10 Hammonton in the first round of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs on Tuesday, according to nj.com.
Nya Jobs also scored for Absegami, in the first half. The game was tied 1-1 at halftime, and remained that way through the second half, necessitating the overtime procedure.
Absegami will visit No. 2 Highland Regional in the quarterfinals on Friday.
