Boy Killed, 6 People Injured In Route 55 Crash
Two cars were involved in an accident on Wednesday night, close to Vineland.
NEW JERSEY — A young boy was killed in a two-car crash on Route 55 late Wednesday night, according to New Jersey State Police.
Police said that the boy was five or six years old, but that information is still pending. Six other people were involved in the crash and four sustained serious injuries.
The accident happened at around 11:26 p.m. on milepost 43.6, close to Vineland.

A Toyota Sienna minivan went off the road then overturned into the lanes of travel. It was then struck by a Chevrolet Cruze, police said.
The driver of the Toyota, Elvira Lopez-Mendoza, 35, of Camden, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cooper. She was driving with five young people: the boy who was pronounced dead at the scene and four others who were ejected and sustained serious injuries.

All of them were taken to Cooper Hospital.
Driving the other car was 20-year-old Paige Bociek, from Clayton, who sustained moderate injuries and was also taken to Cooper Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
