GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Absegami High School football team's quest for a sectional title begins on the road.
Absegami enters the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 playoffs as the No. 5 seed, according to brackets posted on nj.com.
The Braves visit No. 4 Shawnee (5-3) in the quarterfinals on Friday night, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. The winner faces the winner of the game between No. 1 Moorestown (8-1) and No. 8 Pennsauken (3-5) in the semifinals Nov. 17.

Burlington Township (6-2) is the No. 2 seed and hosts No. 7 Highland (4-4) in the quarterfinals. The winner faces the winner of the game between No. 3 Central Regional (7-2) and No. 6 Hammonton (3-6) in the semifinals.
The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 30, time and location to be determined.
