The Cape-Atlantic League is joining the West Jersey Football League next season, bringing the total number of teams to 95. The West Jersey Football League already consists of the Tri-County, Olympic and Burlington County athletic leagues in South Jersey, as well as leagues from Central and North Jersey. The league stretches from Princeton to Wildwood, and was created to solve the problem of scheduling inequality in the race for the playoffs.

Absegami was placed in the Independence Division, along with Cedar Creek, Mainland, Oakcrest, Ocean City and St. Joseph.
