Atlantic City's Showboat Hotel To House Some Stockton Students
The agreement meets Stockton's potential need for additional housing to follow coronavirus guidelines.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The Showboat Atlantic City Hotel is set to house some Stockton University students next school year. The agreement between the university and hotel meets Stockton's potential need for additional housing to meet coronavirus guidelines.
The Showboat Hotel will allow Stockton students to use 400 rooms — 300 singles and 100 doubles. Showboat will also provide 250 student parking spaces and complimentary membership to the MATRIXX Fitness facility. They can also access to an entertainment lounge with billiards and ping-pong tables, the rooftop pool deck and a business and study lounge.
Showboat will place students on floors that only their peers occupy. The per-semester rates for the rooms will be $4,500 for a single and $3,800 for a double, which is competitive with similar on-campus housing, the university says.
