Atlantic County Announces 5 Traffic Advisories This Week

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — County officials announced several travel advisories in Egg Harbor Township this week for work by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.

Westcoat Road

On Monday through Wednesday, a detour will be in effect in the westbound direction of Westcoat Road, between Ohio Avenue in Absecon and Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The eastbound traffic will be permitted in a single lane. Delays may be experienced. Motorists should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.

Mill Road

On Monday through Sunday, a detour will be in place 24 hours a day in the eastbound lane of Mill Road, between Fire Road and Old Zion Road. Motorists should follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.

Zion Road

On Monday through Thursday, a one lane alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Zion Road, between Bargaintown Road and Old Zion Road from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Steelmanville Road

On Monday through Thursday, a one lane alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Steelmanville Road, between Ocean Heights Avenue and Blackman Road, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Ocean Heights Avenue

On Monday through Thursday, a one lane alternating traffic pattern will be in effect on Ocean Heights Avenue, between Steelmanville Road and Blackman Road, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
