Police Search For Man Wanted In Fatal Atlantic City Stabbing
Police are searching for a Philadelphia man charged in the murder of his girlfriend at the Atlantic City Hard Rock Hotel on Friday night.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Police are searching for a Philadelphia man charged in the murder of his girlfriend at the Atlantic City Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday night, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said Monday.
Atlantic City police found the body of Sharon Whaley, 57, of Philadelphia, with multiple stab wounds in a hotel room Friday at 9:45 p.m., Tyner said. Autopsy results are pending.
Whaley’s boyfriend, Frankie E. Lane, 59, was charged with murder and weapons offenses after an investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department, Tyner said.
