Egg Harbor City Man Dies After Hamilton Dirt Bike Crash
Officials flew the man to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
HAMILTON, NJ — An Egg Harbor City man died after a dirt bike crash Friday in Township of Hamilton. Officials flew Brian Easterday to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The incident took place at about 11:30 a.m. in the woods off Third Avenue in the Mitzpah section of town. Easterday, 29, traveled south on a dirt trail in the sand wash, police said. For unknown reasons, his Kawasaki KX450F left the trail and struck a tree, according to authorities.
Easterday wore his helmet during the crash. Authorities extricated him from the woods and airlifted Easterday to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, where he later died.

Hamilton police and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office will continue investigating the crash. Anyone with information can contact Ofc. Bittmann or Det. Blose at 609-625-2700.
