Galloway Man Dies In Head-On Crash With School Bus
The collision that killed a 33-year-old man remains under investigation.
GALLOWAY, NJ — A Galloway man died Wednesday morning after a head-on crash with a school bus. Authorities pronounced Thomas Malinowski dead on the scene.
The incident took place at 7:09 a.m. Wednesday at Pitney Road and Quail Hill Boulevard, Galloway police said. Malinowski, 33, drove his 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander north on Pitney Road, while the school bus traveled south.
Both vehicles collided, pushing the Mitsubishi off the road before it stopped in the woods, police said. Malinowski became entrapped, and the Oceanville and Bayview Fire Companies extricated him.

The school bus driver and the two students on the bus sustained no injuries. Authorities closed Pitney Road for about five hours to investigate the crash and remove the vehicles.
