She died from her injuries after getting airlifted to Cooper University Hospital.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A girl died from her injuries following a head-on car crash Friday in Egg Harbor Township. Officials airlifted her to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Egg Harbor Township police did not publicly release the child's age or identity. The crash took place at about 5:30 p.m. Friday on Delilah Road around Elmwood Avenue.

A Galloway driver traveling west on Delilah Road crossed into the eastbound lane for an unknown reason, police said. A witness, driving eastbound, turned right to avoid an accident. But a Vineland woman driving behind the witness wasn't able to avoid the car, and her vehicle was struck head-on, police said.
