Man Drowns In River At Weymouth Furnace Park
The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered Sunday from the water of Weymouth Furnace in Mays Landing, county officials said.
MAYS LANDING, NJ — The body of a 23-year-old man was recovered Sunday from the water of Weymouth Furnace, county officials said Monday.
The body was located around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. He has yet to be identified.
Weymouth Furnace is a county park in Mays Landing, and a popular spot for canoeing, kayaking and tubing along the Great Egg Harbor River.

Swimming is not permitted in county parks and signs are posted to advise visitors, officials said.
Weymouth Furnace will be closed to visitors while the incident is under investigation.
