New Water Pipes And Fire Hydrants Coming To Galloway
New Jersey American Water will install about 6,360 feet of new water main in Galloway Township beginning this week.

GALLOWAY, NJ — New Jersey American Water will install about 6,360 feet of new water main in Galloway Township beginning this week. The project also includes installing three new fire hydrants along the pipeline route.
The $1.2 million investment will advance water service reliability and increase water flows for household consumption and fire protection, according to New Jersey American Water.
New Jersey American Water's local contractor, Pioneer Pipe Contractors, will begin work this week and expects to finish by the end of April 2021, weather permitting.

Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work outside these hours is not expected unless required to maintain project schedule.
The company will install the new 12-inch ductile iron water lines along the following streets:

- South Cologne Avenue from Route 30 to Aloe Street
- Aloe Street from Cologne Avenue to Leipzig Avenue
- Leipzig Avenue from Aloe Street to Race Track Road
