The music of the songwriting team of John Kander and Fred Ebb comes to life when the revue, “The World Goes ‘Round,” comes to the Music Pier Sept. 6, 8 and 11. A collaboration of the Ocean City POPS and the Greater Ocean City Theatre Company, the tribute will celebrate tunes from such classics of stage and screen as “All That Jazz,” “Cabaret,” “New York, New York,” “How Lucky Can You Get,” “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” “Coffee in a Cardboard Cup” and “And The World Goes ‘Round.”
A quintet of musical theater performers sing, dance, act and even roller skate across the stage, encompassing the humor, romance and drama so integral to Kander and Ebb compositions. “We are thrilled to highlight the impressive career of this dynamic duo,” said director Michael Hartman.
