ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Atlantic City beaches are getting a jam-band infusion this summer. Phish confirmed it will hold a beach concert in Atlantic City for three straight nights.

Each concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. from Aug. 14-16. Three concerts might not be enough for some local Phishheads, so fans can also catch them Aug. 11 and 12 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

A ticket-request period began at tickets.phish.com and will end Feb. 3. The "Foundation Tickets" on sale include early admission, a dedicated viewing area, a foundation lounge and bar and more.

Phish previously performed in Atlantic City at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in 2010 and 2013 and at Bader Field in 2012, according to The Press of Atlantic City. Most of the music from Phish's 2014 album "Fuego" debuted at Boardwalk Hall in 2013.

The band combines genres through musical improvisation. They've been sustained by a dedicated following, much like the Grateful Dead's Dead Heads.

2020 is shaping up for another good summer of music at the Jersey Shore for several different genres. The inaugural Barefoot County Music Fest in Wildwood will feature more than 30 different country artists on the beach, including headliner Carrie Underwood.
