Road Work: Absecon, Galloway And Egg Harbor Township

GALLOWAY, NJ—Atlantic County announced travel advisories in Absecon, Galloway and Egg Harbor Township for road work that begins Monday.

A one lane detour will be in effect in the northbound lane of Pitney Road between Wyoming Avenue in Absecon and Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway beginning Monday Nov. 30 through Wednesday Dec. 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The southbound lane will remain open to traffic.

A detour will be in effect 24 hours a day in the eastbound lane of Mill Road in Egg Harbor Township, between Fire Road and Old Zion Road, beginning Monday Nov. 30 through Sunday Dec. 6, for work by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
