Shows In Galloway, Hammonton Light Up The Holidays

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A brand new light show joins the long standing Light Show on the Lake in Atlantic County this year. The Light Show on the Lake has long been a staple of the holidays in Historic Smithville. DiDonato’s Magical Holiday Express in Hammonton is brand new this year.

South Jersey Magazine’s Best Toy Shop, Toy Market has locations in Hammonton and Smithville.

“People love to get together with family and friends during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day and just have fun,” Toy Market Owner Kelly Donio said. “Whether you play a game that everyone of all ages will enjoy, or just spend time together and share some experiences like these two incredible light shows, these memories will last a lifetime.”

In Smithville, the free Holiday Light Show on the Lake starts nightly at 5:30 p.m., now through Jan. 6. More than 100 Christmas trees magically float on the lake in the middle of the village and light up to music. There is a train ride and a carousel too.

Historic Smithville, located at 3 North New York Road is a village of over 60 specialty shoppes and 9 eateries. Toy Market, in Shoppe #5, is located right next to the Smithville Christmas Shoppe and open extended hours now through New Year's Day.

In Hammonton, DiDonato Family Fun Center's Magical Holiday Express train, at 1151 South White Horse Pike, is running all week long with a special price of only $9.95 per person until New Year's Eve. Rides start nightly at 5 p.m.

The Center also features bowling, galactic glow in the dark, indoor mini-golf and award-winning food and drinks. There is also a chance to win a free $100 Toy Market Gift Card during the visit.

Toy Market’s Downtown Hammonton shop is just a short drive from DiDonato's Magical Holiday Express. Visitors can stop into the store, let the kids play and enjoy all that Downtown Hammonton has to offer.
