This year’s event will focus on Keeping Students First. For 24 hours, from 1 p.m. Oct. 7 until 1 p.m. Oct. 8, supporters will have the opportunity to participate in online fundraising activities and challenges that will offer critical support and unique opportunities for Stockton’s student body.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all activities will be virtual. Highlights include “Stockton Celebrity Squares” – the university’s take on the classic American game show, “Hollywood Squares,” at 5 p.m. Oct. 7, and the Ospreys Give Virtual 5K Fun Run & Walk. All activities are open to the public and details can be found at ospreysgive.stockton.edu.

Donors will be able to double their gifts through nearly $35,000 in matching funds available for a variety of university programs. President Harvey Kesselman and First Lady Lynne Kesselman will once again make a gift of $5 for every donation received from Stockton alumni.
Stockton Chief Development Officer Daniel Nugent said the primary goal of the initiative is to support students.
“We want to encourage our alumni, supporters and neighbors to come together to show their support for our students, who continue to face financial challenges amid the pandemic,” Nugent said. “Donations don’t have to be large to be meaningful. Ospreys Give is about coming together to provide opportunities for students and the community.”
The community can follow the day’s events on Stockton’s web site, Facebook page and Instagram and Twitter accounts. Donations can be made online at ospreysgive.stockton.edu.
