Toy Market To Celebrate 'Best Toy Shop In South Jersey' Recognition, 4-Year Anniversary

Toy Market, with locations in Downtown Hammonton and Historic Smithville Village, has been voted “Best Toy Shop in South Jersey” by South Jersey Magazine.

The Magazine researches the top spots for shopping, dining and personal services, and selects only one in each category annually.

Toy Market was founded in Hammonton as a specialty toy store in 2012, and opened its second location in Historic Smithville in Galloway Township in May of this year.

In celebration of this honor, and to mark the month that Toy Market first opened its doors, both locations will be hosting an annual Anniversary Sale on Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Members of Toy Market’s exclusive Rewards Program will receive 25 percent off items in the entire store for one day only. This is the only day of the year that Toy Market offers a storewide discount at this level.

This year marks the first time that Toy Market received the award. The stores focus on building bonds between parents and children through creative and active play, and feature educational, active, and unique games, puzzles, and toys for children from birth to teen.

The “Best Toy Shop Award” is the most recent regional and national recognition that Toy Market has received. American Express OPEN for Business featured the business and Facebook Business also showcased Toy Market. Company representatives also often lead national workshops about creating engaging experiences for visitors.

The revenue growth in the Hammonton and Smithville locations to date, has been unprecedented, the store’s owners said in a release.

Toy Market offers classes, events and workshops throughout the year at both locations.

Produced and sponsored events include Touch A Truck, Puppet-palooza, A Doll’s Day Out, The Great Egg Drop, LEGO March Madness and Create It, Make It, Take It Classes.

The next class is “Pumpkins with Personality,” which will be held on Monday, Oct. 10.
