Visitations To Resume At Atlantic County Nursing Home, Jail

In-person visitations can resume at the Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northfield on Thursday.

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ — Visitors will once again be permitted at Atlantic County’s Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Northfield and the Justice Facility in Mays Landing due to updated federal and state guidelines.

“This is certainly good news for those who have patiently waited for the opportunity to visit with their loved ones,” said County Executive Dennis Levinson in a statement. “As restrictions are lifted we will continue to follow protocols to help ensure the health and safety of all concerned.”

Beginning Thursday, Meadowview will accept 30-minute visits by appointment, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a choice of visiting in-person (indoors or out) or virtually. Appointments can be made online or by calling (609) 645-5955 for assistance.
