What's Open and Closed in Galloway for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving is Thursday.

Thanksgiving Day is almost here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.

This year, like last year, we only have 28 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you’ll have to cram in your shopping in a four-week period.

Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year. Here is a list of what’s open and closed in Moorestown:

  • All Atlantic County Library System branches close early on Wednesday, are closed on Thursday and reopens on Friday.
  • State and local government offices and courts will be closed Thursday and Friday.
  • Post offices will be closed Thursday; there will be no regular mail delivery.
  • Banks will be closed.
  • Financial and stock markets will be closed.
  • NJ Transit trains will run on a major holiday/weekend schedule.
  • Bus schedules will vary by route and some routes may be affected.
