GALLOWAY, NJ — A storm spread a mix of sleet, freezing rain and ice across Galloway on Thursday. The wintry weather is expected to continue into Friday. (See updated forecast below.)
The Atlantic County Office of Emergency Preparedness has issued Code Blue Alerts from 12 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 through the morning of Monday, Feb. 22.
According to county officials, Code Blue conditions are in effect when the temperature reaches 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below.

Thursday night: Rain. Low around 32. Northeast wind around 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday: Rain before 5pm, then a chance of rain and snow. High near 37. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday night: A chance of snow, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
