12 Hillsborough Roads To Be Paved As Part Of 2021 Plan
Hillsborough is currently finishing up its 2020 Road Paving Program which includes East Mountain Road, Mountain View Road, and Willow Road.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough's 2020 road paving program will soon be completed and the township will soon go out to bid on 12 more roads for 2021.
The 2020 program is currently wrapping up after hitting delays associated with the coronavirus pandemic and weather, according to Hillsborough Committeeman Jeffrey Wright.
Wright announced during the Tuesday meeting that the township is currently paving East Mountain Road between Amwell Road and Mountain View Road.

Next Mountain View Road will be paved between East Mountain Road and Pleasant View Road. Followed by Willow Road between Hillsborough Road and Kilmer Drive.
Once these roads are paved it will complete the 2020 program, said Wright.

The 2021 road paving program will be going out to bid shortly. Here is a look at what roads are on the list for 2021:
- Amsterdam Drive - Phase I (between Millstone River Rd & Vliet Dr.)
- Brooks Boulevard (half width/joint venture with Manville-N 20th St. to N. 15th St.)
- Mountain View Road (between Rte. 206 & 1st bend)
- Williamsburg Drive (in its entirety)
- Weybridge Drive (in its entirety)
- Bywater Way (in its entirety)
- Bywater Court (in its entirety)
- Rivendell Road (in its entirety)
- Dundedain Street (in its entirety)
- Silverlode Court (in its entirety)
- Snowbourn Place (in its entirety)
- Lorien Place (in its entirety)
Wright noted that the township engineering and public works departments evaluate and rank each road each year.
"The public needs to know that the ranking is not just on condition but the traffic volume and use of roadways," said Wright.
