Central NJ’s 1st Space-Themed Indoor Playground Opens In Hillsborough
Bridgewater residents Luis Pazmino and Andrea Roberto, with their two children, recently opened Space Play Academy for kids ages 2 to 12.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Central New Jersey's first space-themed indoor play center has officially opened in Hillsborough.
Bridgewater couple Luis Pazmino and Andrea Roberto opened Space Play Academy at 315 Roycefield Road, Suite 123, in Hillsborough to help entertain their two children, Annabella and Christopher.
The center held a soft opening this weekend after delays with permits, construction, and tariffs.

"We feel great. It's surreal. Once you build it, you can appreciate the magnitude of what we did," said Pazimo, who is an engineer, to Patch. "I've always taken projects that are big, and on paper, they don't look big. But then now that it's built, and now that people are enjoying it, it's just, it's very fulfilling to create a place that is local... It was a big undertaking. But I'm glad that people are enjoying it.
Space Play Academy offers an open play space with a climbing structure, slides and seven galactic play zones with space-themed features. There is also an area with ride-on vehicles and a small track.

The center also has pretend play stations including a cafe and cooking station, fire station, and dress up and make up station.
Additionally, Space Play Academy offers party packages.
