Driver Crosses Over Double Line, Crashes Head-On: Hillsborough PD
A Hillsborough driver crossed over the double yellow line on Route 206 before crashing head-on into a tractor cab on Tuesday, police said.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough driver crossed over the double yellow line on Route 206 before crashing head-on into a truck on Tuesday, police said.
At around 2:32 p.m., Curtis Curry, 32, from Hillsborough, was driving a 2007 GMC Envoy north on Route 206 when he crossed over the double yellow line into the southbound lane just north of the intersection with Valley Road, said Hillsborough Police Cpl Craig Heindrichs.
After crossing over into the southbound lane the SUV crashed head-on into a 2014 Volvo tractor cab, driven by Washington Quintana, 43, from Corona, said Heindrichs.

Both drivers had minor non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Volvo tractor cab was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Somerset for his injuries. The driver of the GMC Envoy was treated at the scene and released, said Heindrichs.
Route 206 was closed for about one hour.

Responding were the following departments: Hillsborough Police Department, Hillsborough Fire Companies 36 and 37, Hillsborough Fire Safety, Hillsborough OEM and Robert Wood Johnson EMS.
