Duke Farms Market To Celebrate 'Growing Week' On Sunday
Thirty one vendors are scheduled to attend and there will be vegetable and plant giveaways.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ —The Duke Farms Market will host its "Growing Week" celebration this Sunday and there will be vegetable and plant giveaways to mark the occasion.
The first 150 customers to stop by the Duke Farms Welcome Tent will receive their choice of a tomato, cucumber or pepper plant, according to Facebook. Additionally, a few native plants from the Duke Farms Native Nursery also will be given away.
The weekly farm to table market takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays at Duke Farms, 1112 Dukes Parkway West in Hillsborough. The market had its opening day on May 2, and it is scheduled to run until December 5.

According to Facebook, the market was created to provide communities with quality, nutritious food, while promoting small family farming and protecting valuable agricultural lands. The farmers practice sustainable growing practices and the artisans use local ingredients when possible.
Masks are required at the market. Parking reservations are not required. Also, the Duke Farms park and trails are closed on Sundays.

The 31 vendors scheduled to participate on Sunday are:
Alstede Farms - Fresh-made pies, apple cider donuts, apple cider and fresh produce
America's Kettle Corn - Fresh popped kettle corn on-site using locally sourced corn
AquaSprout Farms LLC -Aquaponic grown greens and produce
Baker's Bounty – Fresh baked bread and pastries
Bon Nut Butters & Sweets –Artisan nut butters, cookie butters and farm fresh nuts
Bountiful Gardens – Fresh flowers, shrubs and veggie flats
Brownie's Dog Treats –Locally made dog treats
CALDO Sauce / Hot Sauce 4 Good – Locally made hot sauce varieties
Dogwood Farms NJ - Fresh produce, meats, sauces and salsa
FreeSpir Chocolates – Locally made chocolate bars
Gorgeous Goat Creamery & Soap –Locally sourced soap, lotion
Hillsborough, New Jersey - Will be on-site handing out free reusable bags and goodies
Hoboken Farms–Fresh breads, sauces, prepared meals and more
Ironbound Hard Cider – Locally made hard cider
Jammin' Crepes -Will be on-site preparing sweet and savory crepes
