Duke Farms Reopens With Coronavirus Modifications In Place

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Duke Farms reopened on Monday with coronavirus operational modifications in place.

Duke Farms will be open Monday to Friday and closed on weekends due to higher demands on the weekends. The Farmer's Market will still be held on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and bike rentals are suspended.

Here are some of the precautions Duke Farms is taking as they reopen:

• Parking capacity is reduced by 50 percent. Be mindful of this when planning a visit. Visitors are asked to limit visits to 2 hours so others can enjoy the property.
• Most trails are open. A few remote areas are closed and signed for trail maintenance.
• All buildings are closed. Bathrooms are only available at the Orchid Range and Farm Barn Orientation Center. Only the bathrooms will be open at those indoor locations. Visitors must wear masks while in the bathrooms.
• When physical distancing isn't possible, wear a mask including the parking lots, gates, entryways, in bathrooms, and other high-traffic areas.
• The bike rental program is closed until further notice.
• For trail maps and audio tours, download the Duke Farms App for iPhone and Android devices.
