Election Day In Hillsborough: When, Where To Vote
The primary election is Tuesday. Check out our voter guide before you cast your ballot.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Tuesday is the primary election and it will be the first time since the coronavirus pandemic that voters can go to the polls to vote in person.
In Hillsborough there are four ways to vote: at a polling location, using a secure dropbox, mailing your ballot back or hand-delivering it to your local board of elections.

Where Can I Vote?
In-person polling locations:
- Municipal Building, 379 South Branch Road (Districts 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 21, 24, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32)
- Auten Road Intermediate School, 281 Auten Road (Districts 2, 13, 14, 16, 19, 33)
- Hillsborough High School Library-Side Entrance, 466 Raider Blvd. (Districts 4, 18, 22, 23, 31)
- Hillsborough Middle School, 260 Triangle Rd (Districts 5, 6, 7, 12, 17)
- Amsterdam Elementary School, 301 Amsterdam Road (Districts 9, 11, 20, 25, 27)
Dropbox:
Located in front of the Municipal Building, 379 South Branch Road, Hillsborough
The boxes are all outside and under surveillance 24/7. They resemble a USPS Blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue and display "Somerset County – Official Ballot Drop Box."
The Vote-By-Mail ballots (VBMs) will be picked up on a daily basis and brought to the Board of Elections. All security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the VBMs, officials said.
