Hillsborough COVID Vaccine Numbers: Latest Totals

Week by week the number of Hillsborough residents getting vaccinated continues to rise. See the latest total:

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The number of Hillsborough residents who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 continues to rise in the township.

The New Jersey Department of Health released town-level data on COVID-19 vaccinations. The state's COVID-19 dashboard now reveals the percentage of all people, adults and seniors who have been partially or fully vaccinated in each city and town.

Here's the data in Hillsborough Township as of Friday, June 11:

  • Hillsborough population with at least one dose: 67 percent of all ages, 82 percent of adults (18 and older) and 115 percent of seniors (65 and older).
  • Hillsborough population fully vaccinated: 57 percent of all ages, 71 percent of adults and 106 percent of seniors.

Hillsborough is slowly making progress. Comparing the numbers from June 4, the percentage of fully vaccinated people of all ages increased by 3 percent and the percentage of all ages with at least one dose increased 2 percent.

Across Somerset County, there have been 384,916 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered as of June 4, according to the state Department of Health. There were 215,748 county residents who have received at least one dose of the vaccines, the state's COVID-19 database says, and 183,754 who were fully vaccinated as of that date.

New Jersey set a goal to fully vaccinate 70 percent of adults — 4.7 million people — by the end of June. Just over 4.369 million people in New Jersey have been fully vaccinated as of Friday afternoon.
