Hillsborough Rescues Thank Public For Loving Support
"The response from everyone has been overwhelming with so much positivity and donations:" Amwell Animal Rescue Group(AARG) and Capic Cats.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Animal lover Hope Valenti is saying thank you to the public for the loving support she has seen following a Patch article highlighting how two Hillsborough pet rescues are suffering during the coronavirus pandemic.
"I want to sincerely thank Patch and all the animal lovers who donated supplies and more to Amwell Animal Rescue Group(AARG) and Capic Cats. The response from everyone has been overwhelming with so much positivity and donations. I cannot thank the community and Patch enough for helping our animal rescues," Valenti said.
Valenti currently serves as President of the Amwell Animal Rescue Group (AARG) and a Board member of CAPIC Cat Rescue. Valenti had previously said that both rescues, which are volunteer-run, were seeing more pets than ever being dropped off during the pandemic.

As a result, Valenti is looking for volunteers and donations to keep the rescues afloat.
"It has choked me up with the kindness shown and the wonderful responses. As some people sent anonymous care packages and dropped off items, I just want everyone to know how much it is appreciated," Valenti said.
