"I spent several months thinking about what I should do for my Eagle project. I wanted it to be something that was important to me and beneficial for my community," Romano wrote.
Romano's proposed course would include many parts of a fitness routine, such as walking, running, strength training (pull-ups, push-ups, etc), stretching and more.

"Many families in Hillsborough already use Woodfield park as a walking trail and for various sports," Romano said. "This outdoor fitness trail would build on the walking trail to provide other fitness opportunities and also incorporate the Tenderfoot physical fitness rank requirements."
The money collected through the website will be used to purchase stations on the course in the spring or summer of 2017. Romano will then assemble the stations and install them.
"Scouting has been a big part of my life and I want to use that to be able to give back to my community in several ways," Romano said. "If you choose to donate I am very thankful. This project will greatly benefit my township."
