Hillsborough Students Join 'Odyssey Of The Mind' Tournament
The middle schoolers will compete in the finals with students across the world this spring.

Six Hillsborough students are joining students from across the world this spring at the Odyssey of the Mind World Tournament. Nitya Balasubramanian, Ritija Bhargava, Namita Parekh, Nivedha Sundarrajan, Neha Tolpadi, and Aahaan Kulkarni; all seventh and eighth graders, are competing in the finals.

They were the regional champions for the Skylands region of New Jersey and have been working hard on their project since before Thanksgiving.
Their performance is a critical thinking piece with a large element of cooperative problem solving and creativity. All six children are students at Hillsborough Middle School.

Partnered with the kids is Odyssey of the Mind Club Advisor Brittany Hamilton.
"I am beyond proud of these students' accomplishments this year. In any given year it would be impressive - but this year, even more so! They are proud to be representing Hillsborough Middle School School and Hillsborough Township Public Schools at the World event this year," Hamilton said of the team. "They deserve this honor and I'm sure they'll do well."
