Hillsborough Township: Fireworks Safety

Now that certain fireworks are legal in New Jersey, please be mindful of some safe practices when shooting off fireworks on your property.  Use legal fireworks away from structures including homes, decks and sheds.  Also, avoid setting off fireworks near trees, wooded areas and areas around the home with mulch. Finally, keep fireworks away from children and soak spent fireworks in water before throwing them in the garbage.
