Hillsborough Township, Schools Team Up To Offer Scholarship
Hillsborough juniors and seniors can participate in the New Jersey League of Municipalities' Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township and school district are teaming up to offer Hillsborough juniors and seniors the opportunity to participate in the New Jersey League of Municipalities' Louis Bay II, Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition.
This year's statewide scholarship competition centers on the theme "How has local government played a role in your life regarding the ongoing pandemic?" and seeks to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer members of the municipal government.
"This is a good opportunity from the New Jersey League of Municipalities to offer this
scholarship for our students," said Mayor Shawn Lipani at Tuesday’s Township
Committee meeting.

The Louis Bay, II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition will offer up to three $1,000 scholarships statewide. Completed applications should be sent to Lipani by April 5.
Additional information regarding this scholarship opportunity can be found on the Naviance Program utilized by the School District, as well as in the Guidance Office at the high school.
