Hillsborough Woman Dies After Crashing Into Utility Pole
The Montgomery Police and the Somerset County Prosecutors Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team are investigating the fatal crash.
MONTGOMERY, NJ — A Hillsborough woman was killed after crashing into a utility pole on Friday night.
Just before 9 p.m. on Friday, Elizabeth Johnson, 30, of Hillsborough was driving a 2011 Hyundai Sante Fe on County Route 601 when the car left the roadway just south of Grandview Road, said Montgomery Police Lt. Silvio Bet.
The SUV hit multiple trees and a utility pole. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. She was alone in the SUV at the time of the crash, said Bet.

The Montgomery Police Department and the Somerset County Prosecutors Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team are investigating the cause of the fatal car crash.
Along with police, Montgomery Fire Company #1 and #2, Montgomery EMS, and Somerset County OEM/Hazmat Response Team came out to help.
