Hillsborough's Culinary Creations Reopens After Owner's Death

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — It wasn't an easy decision but Culinary Creations reopened earlier this month following the death of one of the owners.

Owner Andrew R. Pantano, 50, died suddenly on April 19 at his home. His wife, JoAnn, made the "most difficult decision" to continue to reopen their family business on June 2.

"Thank you to everyone who has come out to support Culinary Creations these last two weeks. What has been the most difficult decision has turned out to be the easiest with the love and support from all of you and the support and willingness from all the staff," said JoAnn Pantano on the Culinary Creations Facebook page.

The catering company was Andrew's "pride and joy." Since opening in 1995, the Hillsborough business has catered thousands of events throughout New Jersey. Andrew was awarded best Weddings & Catering by the Knot from 2016-2021 and Wedding Wire from 2015-2021, according to his obituary with Kearns Funeral Home.

Currently, Culinary Creations is open Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"We can't wait to see you if you haven't made it in yet. Weekends are still busy so expect a little wait while I work out some staffing kinks but trust me... it will be worth the wait," said Pantano.
