'Large' Bear Roaming Hillsborough, Police Warn
Hillsborough Police are warning residents to avoid contact with the large bear spotted near Longhill Road
Hillsborough, NJ -- Police are warning residents after a large bear was spotted in Hillsborough Wednesday afternoon.
The bear was seen in the area of Longhill Road by the pipeline, Hillsborough Township Police announced in an alert.
"Residents should avoid contact with bears," police stated. "Residents should refer to the NJ Fish and Wildlife Website for bear safety tips and facts."
