Millstone River Remains Flooded Tuesday
The Millstone River remains flooded on Tuesday and will most likely stay that way until Wednesday morning.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — The Millstone River remains flooded on Tuesday and will most likely stay that way until Wednesday morning.
A flood warning was issued through 5:48 a.m. on Wednesday, the Somerset County Public Safety announced.
The Millstone River at Blackwells Mills as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday was measuring at 10 feet high. Flood stage is 9 feet.

The Millstone River at Griggstown Causeway as of 10 a.m. is at 13 feet high with flood stage at 10 feet.
The river will remain around 10 feet this morning then fall this afternoon. The river will then fall below flood stage on Tuesday night, the county reported.

As a result, the D&R Canal is flooded by the Millstone River as well.
Drivers should seek alternative routes and never drive through flooded roadways.
