Montgomery Man Stabs Resident Multiple Times In Back, Torso: Cops
Safi N. Hill, 22, of Belle Mead, was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon and more.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — A Montgomery man was arrested after police say he stabbed another man multiple times in his torso, back, hands, and arm on Thursday.
Safi N. Hill, 22, of Dominicus Court in Belle Mead was charged with second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, third-degree terroristic threats, and third-degree criminal mischief, said Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H.Robertson.
Multiple 911 calls reported a fight in progress involving a knife and at least one person suffering stab wounds in the area of Dominicus Drive on Thursday at 4:48 p.m., said Robertson.

Police found a 27-year-old Montgomery man with multiple stab/laceration wounds to his torso, back, hands, and arm, said Robertson.
The 27-year-old victim was treated at the scene and refused further medical treatment.

Hill ran inside a nearby family's home when police arrive, said Robertson.
When police talked with two family members of the home, they were unaware of what happened and safely left the house, said Robertson.
Hill was found to be inside the home, possibly in the basement. Montgomery Township Police were able to convince Hill to exit the house, said Robertson.
Hill was taken into custody when police saw he had received minor injuries during the fight and was taken to an area hospital by Montgomery Township EMS Squad 47, along with
Montgomery Township Police.
Hill was later treated and released from an area hospital. He was then taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a bail detention hearing. The matter remains under investigation regarding the motive for the assault.
