Hillsborough Township is currently seeking an additional part-time Fire Inspector for an immediate opening to conduct Fire Protection Subcode inspections for new construction, alterations, renovations, etc., as required by the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code.

The Township notes that this is not a fire prevention/fire safety position. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum New Jersey Uniform Construction Code Fire Inspector ICS license as issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, as well as a valid driver’s license.
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. The pay is
$28 per hour. The inspector will work between 16 and 18 hours per week to start. A township vehicle will be provided for inspections. Please email a cover letter of interest, resume, and three references to: Dianne Borngesser at dborngesser@hillsborough-nj.org.
