NJ Mother Charged With Killing 4-Year-Old Son: Report
Police responded to the South Bound Brook home early Saturday following a 911 call from the boy's mother.
SOUTH BOUND BROOK, NJ — A New Jersey woman is facing a charge of first-degree murder after she was arrested early Saturday in connection with the death of her 4-year-old son, according to a report by News 12.
Police were called to the South Bound Brook home of Elina Gutti, 38, around 2 :30 a.m. Saturday following a 911 call made by Gutti, News 12 reported. When they arrived, police told the news station they discovered 4-year-old Aiden Singhania with severe lacerations to his body.
Emergency personnel attempted to revive the child, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to News 12, Gutti was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree unlawful possession of a knife.
