Police: Emergency Utility Work to Cause Heavy Traffic, Delays In Hillsborough Saturday

Emergency roadwork at the intersection of Route 206 and New Amwell Road will cause heavy congestion Saturday evening.

Emergency utility work at the intersection of Route 206 and New Amwell Road will likely cause heavy traffic congestion and significant delays, Hillsborough Police report.

The utility work will repair a busted cable and phone line situated in an underground manhole at the intersection, Hillsborough Police Chief Paul Kaminsky stated to Patch.

The utility work could cause traffic to back up near the intersection from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Traffic will be diverted around the worksite only. A detour has not been authorized at the time of this report.
